Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to her Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother. She has been a famous actress on TV. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. She began a career in physical therapy. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas and moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities that included local independent films as well as world-wide commercials. In spite of the minor roles, she discovered that she was a performer with a love. Her move was from the Midwest to New York. Her first role was on the soap opera All My Children. There were minor roles in JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. De La Garza was nominated numerous times for her role in the show, including Best Supporting Actress in Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was awarded the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding performances on a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments further. She performed the role of Marisol Deko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was on NBC's somewhat dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC in the first two episodes.
